1996 Hatteras 50 Sport Deck Motor Yacht

FOREDECK:  Including the bow pulpit and the added extended swim platform, the overall length of the vessel is 58 feet. The integrated bow pulpit has a stainless steel anchor chock and roller and houses a Danforth anchor with chain and rode. An additional FX-57 Fortress anchor is secured to the deck. Each anchor's rode feeds into one of two hawse pipes.  The chain and rode of the anchor in the pulpit is controlled by a Galley Maid electric windlass with two deck step switches. On either side of the deck is a fiberglass deck box and four fenders are secured in two rail racks. A 50 amp service receptacle enters the vessel on the starboard side and the dock cable is controlled by a Glendenning automatic cable feed/recovery system.  Additionally around the bridgework is a Hailer, duel air horns and a searchlight. Kept on aft deck is a side boarding stairs that fits in attachments on either side of the boat for boarding from the dock. 

STERN DECK:  An 18" wide walkaround deck on both sides lead to glass faced opening doors into the Aft Deck area and then down 6 molded steps to the stern deck.  On the molded stern platform is a large deck box and a set of three foot high safety rails. The attached 33" X 12" fiberglass swim platform is next and has a hidden telescoping boarding ladder.  There is an additional portable boarding ladder kept on the aft deck. 

The salon is four steps down from the aft deck and provides 6'6" headroom. Immediately to port is an 8'6" settee with twin end side units that each accomodate a single berth when pulled out. The main settee converts to a double berth.  At the bulkhead at the end of the settee is a full bulkhead mirror that runs to the companionway to the master stateroom

As you enter the salon from the aft deck, directly to the starboard corner is the entertainment center over an enclosed AC switching panel. The entertainment center houses a Vizio 26" flat screen 1080 HD television, KVH Trac Sat, LG Blu Ray player, Yamaha HTR-5740 AV reciever, Yamaha 5 disc CDC555 disc player and Direct TV+DVR. 

At the forward starboard corner is an easy chair with foot stool. Behind the chair is a cabinet housing the DC distribution panel and next to the chair is a cabinet that houses the AC distribution panel. 

The salon has carpeted flooring and curtains with venetion blinds on all windows. Also in the salon is an air conditioning control unit, carbon monoxide detector and a fire extinguisher.

Access to the starboard side dinette and portside galley is two steps down from the salon. The dinette seating is 53" long and 22" wide with storage under the aft seat and two drawers under the forward seat. The dining table measures 51 1/2" long by 29 1/2 wide. The unit converts to a 6' X 52" berth. 

The "U" shaped galley has new Corian counters and the following equipment:

• On the 22 1/2" wide left side is a centered 14" X 13" X 7" deep stainless steel sink. The counter at this side is 5'7" long. Underneath are four utensil drawers and two double door storage lockers.
• Under the counter at the port bulkhead is a new GE Profile dish washer with two sliding panel lockers above and a drawer and locker below.
• At the forward facing side of the galley is a new GE Profile convection oven above the counter.
• Under the convection oven is a new Contour two burner flat top electric stove with two drawers and a double door locker underneath. 
• At the end of the galley is a new GE stainless steel over/under house size refrigerator /freezer
• The soul of the galley is synthetic inlaid teak flooring
• In the center of the galley flooring is a 24" X 26" hatch that opens in a cavernous storage area that is approximately 42" deep and measures 7'8" by 10' wide.  The area contains two 20 gallon hot water heaters and the vessels holding tank and overboard valves. A Therm X Troll unit for absorbtion of expended potable water is attached to the bulkhead.  There is ample additional space for storage and/or a pantry area. 

Two steps down from the galley/dinette there is a guest door to the forward head to port and across is a cabinet housing the Whirlpool Thin Twin clothes washer and dryer. 

FORECABIN: Providing 6'4" headroom, the stateroom has a centerline 6'4" by 58" berth with an 8" mattress. The area above the headboard is mirrored and provides access to the anchor locker. Ther are four drawers beneath the berth and drawers along the bulkhead both Port and Starboard at the foot of the berth. At the aft port corner is a four shelf storage locker and across to port is a hanging locker. There is a 26" X 26" overhead hatch and a 17" X 67" mirror behind the entry privacy door. A Vizio 19" flat screen TV and HD directtv is on the bulkhead and there is a fan, fire extinguisher and airconditioning control. 

ENSUITE HEAD:  The sole consists of inlaid synthetic teak and the head provides 6'5" headroom.  There is a 23" vanity with 14" oval molded sink that has two shelves and under counter storage. A 21" X 23" mirrored, two shelf cabinet is above the vanity. There are controls on the vanity front for the shower sump pump, vacu flush toilet and waste tank monitor. A curved shower stall that is 25" X 39" has a curved Lexan clear sliding door. Shower has a molded seat, with shelf above and an opening port.

STATEROOM:  From the salon it is five steps down and is under the aft deck. Headroom is 6'6" and features a centerline 6'2" X 69" walkaround tapered King berth with 8" mattress. On the port and starboard bulkheads is a 77" long by 18" wide vanity with six drawers each and an additional two drawers at head of berth. There are curtained windows and sole carpeting, air conditioning control two vanity lamps a Vizio 19" flat screen TV, ILive stereo made for Ipod and Direct TV/HD.

At the aft port corner of the stateroom is the amazingly large Walk-In closet. It is Cedar lined, 5'9" long and 5'4" wide at the back corner. There is a 14" wide storage shelf running the length of the closet.

ENSUITE HEAD:  With 6'8" headroom, it has a 41" vanity counter that contains a 14" wide molded sink at the starboard bulkhead. There is a double door storage locker beneath the vanity and a 23" X 34" mirrored sliding locker above the vanity. There is additional side mirror panelling on each side of the vanity.  At the vanity is a control panel for the vacu flush head, shower sump and waste tank monitor.

A 25" wide by 4'8" long shower stall with tub and molded seat is at the corner of the compartment with a sliding clear glass door.  An opening port with shelf beneath is above the molded seat. Flooring in the head is synthetic inlaid teak. 

Access to the aft deck is via the swim platform molded steps or the port or starboard doors leading out to the deck "sidewalk". The exceptionally large deck has 7' headroom and is air conditioned with new wrap around isenglass with detachable privacy covers. Just right of the port door is the wetbar with molded 12" X 10" X 5" deep sink, under counter refrigerator and under sink storage with four shelves. Above the wetbar is an entertainment center within an enclosure. It houses a 32" Visio flat screen High Def, 1080 TV plus Direct TV/HD unit.  Next to the starboard door is a fiberglass cabinet with three shelves. 

Furniture consits of the following Faux wicher pieces:

The bridgedeck is four steps up from the center of the Aft Deck and has 7'3" headroom under the hard top. The deck is 8'8" long with twin Murray brothers pedestal helm chairs.  As you enter the bridgedeck there is a 43" long padded settee to the starboard corner. Accros to port is an "L" shaped settee that is 79" long. A spray windshield surrounds the front of the helm area. 

Instruments are housed in port and starboard clear glass protected cabinets and the center helm panel. When not under power the entire instrument enclosure is protected by two layers of snap on canvas. Instrumentation is as follows:

MECHANICAL:  Four steps down from the salon to stairway hatch to engine compartment which has 66" headroom.  The 692 Detroits are Turbo charged with the port engine being rebuilt in 2003. Controls are by Morse mechanical cable and linkage, with 2 3/4" stainless steel prop shafts, Twin Disc transmissions @ 4.95/1, Double bolt flange packing glands, external engine mounted raw water heat exchanger and 5 blade Nibral 43X78 props. There are two molded FRP fuel tanks, one located at keel (437 gallons) and one aft (185 gallons), 

• Racor 500MA fuel filters, remote mounted with engine mounted secondaries

• (1) 24000 BTU unit serves salon
• (1) 16000 BTU unit serves aft deck and bridgedeck
• (2) 16000 BTU units serve forward and master staterooms
• (4) 8D Batteries
• (3) Guest battery selector switches
• 24 volt DC generator battery panel
• Dytek 24 volt, 50 amp battery charger
• Starboard amidship (1) 50 amp, 250 volt inlet with Glendinning Cablemaster located starboard amidships, (1) 125 volt, 50 amp inletport with new cable.

It is a pleasure to represent a vessel that is as close to rating a Pristine designation as can be found on a pre-owned broker's listing. The owner spares no expense in assuring that this vessel is professionally maintained, has the best equipment and is exceptionally mechanically sound. The bottom was stripped and painted in 2011 and hull and topsides waxed and buffed in January 2013.

During the past year new recessed lighting was installed along with inlaid synthetic teak flooring in the galley and heads. All carpeting and curtains are new and the head compartments have all new houses. Aft deck enclosure is new and comes with snap-on privacy curtains.  All galley appliances are new.
